The Rockingham Educational Foundation donates books to be distributed to all kindergarten students in Rockingham County Public Schools on the first day of school in an effort to promote the importance of early literacy.  The book is a delightful story entitled Kindergarten, Here I Come.  Literacy is the basic building block of education – it gives students access to knowledge and the ability to communicate with the world.
